Field Supervisor

Under supervision of the Garden Manager, the Field Supervisor assists all daily work and production activities of the farm. Minimum of 50 hours a week during summer (May 04-August 23) and 20 hours during regular school year. Must be able to work from Sunday through Friday. Seasonal work from April 06 – October 31, 2014

Greenhouse/Packaging Supervisor

Under supervision of the Garden Manager, the Supervisor assists in all greenhouse and packaging activities of the garden. Minimum of 45 hours a week during summer (May 04-August 23) and 20 hours during regular school year. Must be able to work from Sunday through Friday.  Seasonal work from April 06 – October 31, 2014

Field Labor

Under supervision of the Field Supervisor, the Field Labor assists all daily work and production activities of the farm.

Minimum of 45 hours a week during summer (May 04-August 23) and 20 hours during regular school year. Must be able to work from Sunday through Friday.  Seasonal work from May 04-October 31, 2014

Marketing Intern

The Marketing Intern will be responsible for the Andrews Student Gardens weekly newsletter.  He/she will be responsible in creating a weekly article which contains a blog, recipes, information, farm updates, and innovative approaches in reaching to the community and customers.  He/she will maintain the Student Gardens website, and produce printed copies for our customers and the community. Flexible; 10 hours a week.  Seasonal work from late May to early October.

Mobile Market Coordinator

The Mobile Market Coordinator will manage, promote, and execute the Mobile Market program.  It is a temporary seasonal position.  The coordinator will engage with organizational partners and community members daily and will serve as the representative of Andrews Student Gardens whenever making market stops and local deliveries.  He/she is responsible for tracking all market sales and related data and will assist with Community Supported Agriculture program distribution.  He/she will work closely with the Mobile Market Assistants throughout the market season. He/she will harvest, sort, and prepare fruits and vegetables for daily operation. Average of 45 hours per week and 15 hours a week from September 14-October 19. Monday-Friday.  Seasonal work from May 25-October 19, 2014

Mobile Market Assistant

The Mobile Market Assistant will work under the Mobile Market Coordinator.  It is a temporary seasonal position.  The assistant will assist in all Mobile Market activities as well as limited garden help.  He/she will serve as the representative of Andrews Student Gardens whenever making market stops and local deliveries.  He/she will harvest, sort, and prepare fruits and vegetables for daily operation. Average of 25-30 hours per week. Monday-Friday from late morning till late evening.  Seasonal work from June 08-September 21, 2014
